My Mission

Piano study is a journey that builds more than just musical skills—it nurtures confidence, discipline, and a deep sense of accomplishment. I believe that consistent practice and a commitment to learning lay the foundation not only for musical growth but for lifelong success.

Trial Lesson

  • New prospective students will start with a 3o minutes free trial lesson, including a consultation. This gives us time to get to know each other, assess the student’s level and goals, and answer any questions.

Who I teach

  • I teach students of ALL levels, age 5 & up.

Lesson Options

  • Lessons are offered in 30, 45 & 60-minute privately each week; Adult students may sign up for bi-weekly lessons, depending on their needs.

  • Lessons are offered both in person & online to best accommodate each student’s needs. Online lessons are conducted via Zoom, FaceTime, etc, using high-quality video and audio.

  • Lessons can be conducted in either English or Mandarin Chinese, based on the student’s preference.

  • Lessons are available on weekends.

Lesson content

  • During the piano lessons, you can expect the following additional class contents in addition to playing repertoire:

    Technique

    Sight reading

     Ear Training

    Music Theory

     Accompanying

  • As a conservatory-trained musician, my specialty lies in classical repertoire, but students can have a chance to choose the repertoire they are interested in when appropriate (For example, jazz music, pop music, Disney music, video game music, movie tracks, and classical music).

Performance & Opportunities

  • A formal recital may be scheduled once a year.

  • Students have the opportunity to take evaluation exams(such as AIM, RCM, ABRSM), competitions, and festivals.

Tuition

There are three course plans available:

  • School-Year-Based Plan (32 weeks+2 flex weeks)

  • Semester-Based Plan (16 weeks+1 flex week)

  • Single-Lesson Plan

  • For the School-Year/Semester-Based plan: The week following the regular semester (the 17th week) is designated as a flex week, during which students may schedule one make-up lesson for any excused absence that occurred earlier in the semester. Students with perfect attendance will automatically get one free lesson during the flex week.

  • Single-Lesson-plan is available by request and is ideal for achieving short-term goals, such as competitions and auditions.

  • The tuition rate is based on the course plan and lesson length you choose.
